A rare bird indeed, this custom manufactured Eisenhower Jacket is an original , in near perfect condition, custom tailored, quilted lining, in a men's 40 regular. It was dressed for a feature film about the "Eagle Squadron " American pilots flying in the RAF. No mothing or flaws I can find. The jacket is stunning in person, and wears the following... Original pilot's wings, stamped "Vanguard, N.Y." Original major's oaks, original AAF insignia on lapels, three service stripes in bullion on left sleeve. Custom made for the film "RAF" wings and 8th AF patch in bullion, manufactured in England and of outstanding quality. The ribbon bar is also I believe a reproduction made by one of the original manufacturer's of WWII decorations. The jacket still bears the original officer's initials above the manufacture tag... Check my other listings for a lovely RAF Irvin also used for publicity shots for the film. I have a pristine set of trousers and shirt, both original and in perfect condition if you'd like to make a complete uniform out of this... just let me know, and I'll list them or send pics first. Happy bidding, and please feel free to drop me a line with any questions. Check my feedback and bid with confidence.Good luck!
