you have an AAF or GI Enlisted Dark OD Wool Fur Felt Custom Tailored Visor cap in about near mint condition. The cap's crown is beautifully preserved and represents a high-end private purchase by an enlisted man. The crown is made of thick fur felt wool. T is no fading, stains, soiling, moth damage or wear. Incredibly t a nip to the thick wool that does not penetrate the crown and a couple of spots to the cloth covering the base of the cap. T is a pair of grommets on each side. T is a sharp, enlisted man's two-piece cap badge mounted to the front with spread-wing eagle that still glitters. The base of the cap has a russet-brown leather band secured by two early eagle buttons. T is a russet brown, leather visor. T are no crazing, warping, digs, scratches or gouges to the visor. The visor's stitching is intact. The leather band is perfectly intact and is still soft and pliable. T is a blue rayon liner to the crown. You can see w the maker's information was on a shield. The cap has give. I take a 7.25 and can fit it on my cap. I would estimate it is a 7 to 7 1/8. It measures 8 by 9.5 inches with give. The cap looks great with the jaunty, floppy crown, and is just the item you need to complete an AAF or GI Enlisted Class A Uniform. This hard-to-find, custom-tailored AAF or GI Enlisted Dark OD Fur Felt Cap with soft crown tailored in about near mint condition would make a terrific addition, upgrade and/or completion to most any AAF Uniform or GI Cap Collection. It would be perfect for wear by re-enactors, and is absolutely ideal for your display, museums, and for educational and theatrical presentations. I am listing a number of caps, uniform items, field gear, ribbons, insignia, home front items, etc. this week. Please do a seller-search using my username: to check it out. Thank you.
Please read this section carefully for adhering to the terms of the listing as the winning bidder is entering into a legal contract. Payment in US Dollars is due within 11 days of the listing's conclusion. I accept Pay Pal. Also, checks are fine but I generally clear them, and Money Orders, and Bank Checks ship ASAP. Items paid through Pay Pal will ship when the funds clear and are transferred to my bank account. No cash please unless you register and insure the payment package. Buyer in the States pays US Postal Service Priority Mail shipping with delivery confirmation/tracking slip, and I will combine postage for multiple purchases. W First Class Postage is offered, I insist on a padded bag and delivery tracking slip. Tracking is mandatory for all Pay Pal domestic transactions. For Pay Pal payments $250 and larger, a signature return receipt is mandatory. If outside the States this will change. I ship world wide for all countries recognized by Pay Pal. I will present shipping costs (Global Express and Airmail Parcel Post) for larger items through an invoice and contact email. Insurance and tracking on large size or large dollar items are mandatory. Smaller items can be shipped easily, safely and affordably in a Global Priority Flat Envelope for five dollars and fifty cents (most countries participate in Global Priority). Surface mail will not be an option. International Bidders must pay in US Dollars. First time international bidders (to my listings) must use Pay Pal. No cash for first time bidders. I will consider other methods of payment for repeat international bidders only. Pay Pal transactions of $250 or over will also require a signature return receipt document or another incremental method of tracking. Please factor this in your decision to bid. I save all Postal Service Receipts as well as copies of your payment as proof of delivery and completion of the transaction. The mail is not infallible and that is why insurance is available to you (your choice/option) for domestic and international transactions. It is your responsibility to understand and ad to these terms. I have enjoyed interacting with buyers from four continents and dozens of countries. Many have been veterans, ac...
