you have a WWII Officer's Sword Hanger for the M1902 Sword. The hanger was affixed to the russet leather Sam Brown Belt. The hanger was made in France and is marked Rustproof. The non-magnetic chain, hook, and clasp are affixed to a piece of heavy russet brown leather. The leather mount is looped through the belt. The stitching is intact. This is only the second WWII Officer's Sword Hanger I have ever listed. The winning bidder may opt for 1st Class Postage with a Padded Bag and Tracking Slip in lieu of the Priority Mail Option. This WWII Officer's M1902 Sword Hanger for the Sam Brown Belt would make a fabulous addition, upgrade and/or completion to a WWII GI Officer's Uniform collection. It also would be absolutely perfect for re-enactment, your GI field gear display, museums, and for educational and theatrical presentations. I am listing a number of caps, uniform items, field gear, ribbons, insignia, home front pieces, etc, this week. Payment in US Dollars is due within 11 days of the listing's conclusion. I accept Pay Pal. Checks are fine but I generally clear them. Money Orders and Bank Checks ship ASAP. Items paid through Pay Pal will ship when the funds clear and are transferred to my bank account. Buyer in the States pays US Postal Service Priority Mail shipping with delivery confirmation/tracking slip. I will combine postage for multiple purchases. W First Class Postage is offered, I insist on a padded bag so a delivery tracking slip can be used. The cost of First Class includes the padded pad. Tracking is mandatory for all Pay Pal domestic transactions. For Pay Pal purchases of $250 and larger, a signature return receipt/tracking and insurance are mandatory. If outside the States this will change. I ship world wide for all countries recognized by Pay Pal. Shipping options will be provided. Insurance and tracking on large size or large dollar items ($250 or over) are mandatory. Smaller items can be shipped easily, safely and affordably in a Global Priority Flat One Rate Envelope or First Class Mail International (the cost of the First Class includes a padded bag). Surface mail is not an option. International Bidders must pay in US Dollars. Pay Pal is the accepted method of payment. I save all Postal Service Receipts as well as copies of your payment as proof of delivery and completion of the transaction. The mail is not infallible and that is why insurance is available to you (your choice/option) for domestic and international transactions. It is your responsibility to understand and ad to these terms. I have enjoyed interacting with buyers from four continents and dozens of countries. Many have been veterans, active duty GIs, home front family members in our war, authors, artists, teachers, museum curators, etc. You are encouraged to email with questions. I will try my best to answer all those that are received by Friday. (I am not always available on weekends when the items close.) When bidding, consider what the item is worth and what you can afford. A winning bid represents a legal and binding contract.
