NEW YORK LARGE GOOSENECK KETTLE Over the next few months I will be offering some of the finest antique Americana. Please view my feedback, every effort goes into quality photos and a detailed description with much research. This beautiful antique Americana gooseneck kettle was purchased at the California Country & Folk Art Show in Costa Mesa California in 2004 almost 10 years ago. This show offers over 50 of the finest Country & Folk Art Dealers from across the United States, their focus is true antique Americana and antique rarity items with original surfaces, the finest American metalware, copper, treenware, painted surfaces, Folk Art and Shaker wares can be found at this wonderful show with prices reaching as high as the heavens, what a great show it is for the SERIOUS collectors and those who have high end galleries and offer true pieces. This was the only AMERICAN antique New England kettle that I could find, it was quite expensive when purchased, far more than my very modest reserve, which is under $200.00.....with shipping....with lots of room for the resale market....With downsizing in mind and a recent inheritance, I will be offering some lovely 'investment' quality pieces...so please be sure to take a peek from time to time... Description : Bramhall Deane & Co. were known for their stunning very expensive French designed kitchen ranges and fabulous kitchen wares in the late 1800 and early 1900's, their wares graced the finest estates across New England and the Hamptons. This Americana Bramhall Deane & Co. New York C.1895-1905 era copper and brass accented gooseneck tea kettle is a substancial and impressive larger size, easily holds a gallon, stands approx. 13 1/2" with handle up, circumference around it's belly is 32 ", diameter is approx. 10", approx 14 1/2" including the gooseneck spout, t he handle is clearly hallmarked. A couple of very minor dings are noted, nothing serious at all mentioned for 100% accuracy, left untouched, not recently cleaned or polished. True Americana metalware is very difficult to find and very expensive. Please view all the photos and use the supersize feature, I am showing every angle possible of the kettle for your inspection. I have placed a very very modst reserve that does not cover my cost, I'm stepping out in faith that this beauty will do well on it's own merit..please...try to find another...I searched the Internet and had no such luck...
