ABBOTT COLLECTOR TIN This is a cute, vintage medicine tin from Abbott for Nembutal & Aspirin. This was a sample tin as shown on the face. The lid slides to one side (t is a tiny stop on the bottom side of the lid and an edge on one end) to open. The bottom of the box has the dosage and that it was supplied in bottles of 100 and 500. The inside is shiny, but the outside is painted black, white, and teal blue. It is 1 3/8 inch long x 5/16 inch tall x 15/16 inch wide. As can be seen from the photo, the top does have some scratches and wear. The bottom also has wear on the edges. I believe this is from the 1940s or early 1950s. This would be a great collector item for those who collect vintage tins or medicine memorabilia. If you have any questions, just let me know. Good luck with your bidding!
