ABC "O" Gauge VML2 2 Stage Gearbox With Canon Motor. This is the ABC standard 2 stage general purpose gearbox with ration of 26.7:1. Comes complete with the Cannon 1833 electric motor suitable for all but the heaviest expresses. These gearboxes transmit 3 times the power due to their use of precsion spur and helical gears. These give quiet running and about 75% more effeciency. The cannon motor is ideal for fitting in tight spaces leaving more space in the firebox for adhesive weight. Lighter pickups can be used to reduce drag due to the reduced current drawn by the motor, this also makes them idea for battery operation.
