This Abingdon pottery "Little Old Lady" #471 cookie jar is a cutie, but has some significant damage as shown in the photographs. She is however offered at a drastically reduced price from what a perfect example would be. As you can see in the photos this piece in perfect condition has a book value of $550-$595! Our price is way below half that because of the flaws. She has several hairline cracks and chips both on the lid and the body of the piece. All are shown. I should mention that one of the cracks is actually pictured twice as I shot the rim with its chip and the crack is shown from the other side. The cookie jar measures 10" high. Even with the flaws, she's still a fun piece. Besides--all those flaws prove that she was used to hold a lot of homemade cookies!
