ABP American Brilliant Cut Glass Bowl J HOARE Marquise Search Please Note... This is a short Three Day Auction... This is a magnificent example of American Brilliant Period Cut Glass... It is a stunning Bowl, or perhaps deep Plate, manufactured in Corning, New York, by J Hoare & Company... The Bowl is presented in their Marquise pattern, which features an elaborate Chain of Hobstars border, surrounding an intricately cut Star design in the center (see photos)... The Bowl is cut absolutely everyw.. The clarity of the blank is exceptional, and the Bowl sparkles beautifully... The heavy Bowl (it weighs just under 2 pounds) measures 7" wide, is 1-1/2" tall, and has the J. Hoare mark on the interior surface... We were not able to capture a photo of the mark, but please be assured that it is t.. The Bowl is in very good condition... T are some small fleabites/ roughness, present on the teeth, and one tooth is chipped (as shown in our last photo)... However, the basic integrity of the tooth is still intact... This exquisite J Hoare Cut Glass Bowl, done in the Marquise pattern, will be an outstanding addition to any setting, or collection... Sorry, t will be NO International shipments for this item...
