ABP Brilliant Good Luck Cut Glass Harvard Pitcher -Wow! is one Impressive Brilliant Period Cut Glass Water Pitcher for your auction pleasure. This stunner measures 9 5/8" tall X about 7" wide and weighs a substantial 4 pounds, 14 ounces.This pitcher is cut in cross hatching with tiny Harvard cuttings in the shape of a horseshoe. Within the horseshoe reads "Good Luck". Below the horseshoes are two viscaria type pattern florals with the flower heads cut in matte. Surrounding the base is larger Harvard cutting and the vessel features horizontal stepped cuttings at the neck. The applied handle is finished in thumb prints.I could not positively identify this pattern and I could find no mark; but I feel it was likely created by one of the Harvard cutting masters like Hawkes or Dorflinger perhaps. After very careful scrutiny, the condition of this beauty remains simply flawless. T is not the minutest flea bite or ridge nip present. Not a hint of interior discoloration.
