I wish my photos could show how pretty this piece is in person. Light overwhelms the camera but not the eye. This is a tall and unusually elongated shaped carafe made by Pairpoint in their very distinct Ramona pattern. The Pairpoint-Union book of blanks shows three carafes and this is not one of them. The old Mt Washington catalogs, however, do show this size and shape carafe, their No 740, which holds 2 quarts. This carafe weighs 4-1/4 pounds, is 10" tall and 6" wide and photo 7 pictures it next to beloved and not-included-in-the-auction smaller Mt Washington Bedford carafe for size comparison purposes. The ACGA's Pairpoint catalog reprint on page 41 (photo 8) shows the Ramona pattern of this carafe cut on a sugar and cream set in the lower right corner. There are a few nicks to the points of the four 24 point hobstars on the sides of the carafe, no residue or staining in the bottom, and no chips or nicks to the top rim. I am always happy to provide additional photos or answer questions about this piece. I am an ACGA member and trade according to their guidelines.
