You are bidding on a set of hardcover books titled Abraham Lincoln - The War Years. By Carl Sandburg. With 414 Half-tones of photographs, and 249 reproductions of cartoons, letters, documents. Published by Harcourt, Brace & World, Inc., 1939. The set is complete in four volumes and you are bidding on all four volumes. It is an all matching set with the Box included.This item has a mildew smell to it from being stored in a basement. The collection appears to in very good condition otherwise. The Box has a broken corner and a little scuffed up as shown in photos. Each book has a label of ownership on the inside of each cover. Books appear to be used very little as I see only 1 book with signs of bent pages but see no markings. Very good condition except for the mildew smell.
