AS we allllll know, one yorkie is just never enough, they are like potatoe chips, arn't they?? This little boy asked Santa for another yorkie. You see, he thought his current yorkie needed a playmate because he will be going to pre-k soon and knows how much his buddy will miss him while he is at school. So he checked with his parents before he wrote his letter to Santa, just to make sure it was going to be alright to ask for another yorkie, and they said yes. is what the little boy wrote: Dear Santa, All I want this year is a yorkie..... thats a kind of dog, with long hair and a big personality. I already have one, he is my bestest friend in the whole wide world, but I need another one because I don't want him to be lonely when I go to school. We've been best friends my whole life, thats a long time, I am 4 years old. I have been saving all my money and I am going to buy her a shiney collar for Christmas. I will have it ready when you bring her and I will trade you her for milk and cookies, how does that sound? She might bark in your sleigh on the way , just tell Rudolph that yorkies like to be backseat drivers. Love, Geddy in Florida Well, Geddy got his wish and now Geddy and his friends together have only one more wish to make their Christmas complete. They need a special spot to sit for the Holidays, a special spot to watch all the festivities of the season, and a special spot w lots of people can see and adore them and a home w they can be part of a favorite yorkie Christmas collection. The was a very plain Christmas figurine before I got ahold of it and "Yorkiefied" it. It is made of polyresin and stands about 10.5 inches high. It is quite heavy and very sturdy. Santa has a very soft, plush feeling suit and leatherlike belt. His face/boots, hands are polyresin, as is the train and the little boy. The train after its yorkification, is adorned with a handmade beaded rope, little bones, little bows with bells, painted pawprints, the words "Yorkie Express", a "Y" on the front ...(Y is for Yorkie)... presents, and a red snowflake of sorts on the chimney smokestack. Inside one of the cars is Geddys best friend, a yorkie I made of polymer clay. He and Geddy were playing with his new train set when Santa arrived with the new member of the family. Their new family member is unique and is why.....this figurine came with a bear in Santa's hands but that was just all wrong, the little boy needed a yorkie, not a bear, so I took the bear from Santa and made some major changes to it...so now only the 'insides' are orginal. I needled in the yorkie hair, changed the eyes from beads to premium glass eyes, gave her a mouth, sculpted the nose, felted her some pads on her front paws and gave her a pretty Christmas bow. She is securely glued in place so she doesn't try to jump out when Santa raises his arms just alittle. I added the red and white ribbon border on the bottom and included 2 sound chips under Santa's coat. When pressed, each plays a portion of "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" and "Jingle Bells". They are hidden loosely under his red coat but are not glued so that you will be able to get to them to change the batteries when/if needed. Shipping will be $6.50 in the US as it is quite heavy. I will pack it very very well but insurance is recommended. Insurance price based on ending auction bid. I prefer Paypal but will take a money order or a personal check with a wait-until-check-clears shipping policy.
