Abstract, textural painting by a local California Mid Century Modern artist. Details - Bright, vivid colors of purple, lavender, chartreuse, turquoise, and aqua painted on board. Flat, dabbled acrylic paint with areas of dimension and a lava type of texture created with tiny pebbly material and burlap under the surface paint. Simple black powder coated metal frame. Signed Arthur L. Kaye. It's noted that he may have painted this later in his life. By the condition we would say it's doesn't look to be more than 10 or 15 years old but the style is consistent with his earlier work. Measurements - 33 x 26 3/4". Condition - Wonderful condition with no fading. Colors are strong. There are few small flakes of the textural material. One odd red dot near the center left section that looks to have been original to the piece. Frame has no damage. Overall very, very nice condition.
