Be sure to view all 12 photos...! NOS Eight (8) AC C43 Spark Plugs as shown in the above 12 photos. These are correct for 1967 & 1968 Camaro 302 Engines RPO: Z28. These are the correct Green 'equal' 4 ring design. The 4 Green equal rings came into standard production during 1959, but did not follow the model year production (SOP). The wider upper Green band you see sellers listing as NOS correct are Not correct, as they came out in may 1974...! The C43 is a "Commercial" named spark plug because of it's "Heavy-Duty" design, with a larger side Electrode @ 0.128" in width & 0.050" in thickness. The Center electrode Dia. is splined,and measures 0.125".... other than that, a C43 is identical to a '43'...Gap is 0.035". The two different 1968 AC Books clearly show the 302 CID used the C43 in 1967 & 1968 Only! In 1969, the 302/Z28 used a R43 (Resistor) Plug. In 1969,all GM engines for passenger car spark plugs, used the 'R' prefix, Resistor type plug. The Eight spark plugs shown in the 12 photos above, along with the 8 gaskets are the Actual, & Total contents of this auction...No boxes!
