This sword was purchased by me from Museum Replica's around 2001 or 2002. Its in my opinion an excellent copy of a later medieval knights sword from the mid 1400s or so ( maybe earlier). Its stamped Windlass steel craft on the ricasso and dated 2001. I do not believe this sword is in production anymore. The pummel is brass and is peened so it could be used as a real sword for medieval combat. There's a Latin inscription around the pummel which I can not quite decipher. edge is not sharpened, there's no scabbard. There's some mild surface rust spots on one side from poor storage but would clean up nice. Measures 31 inches long overall, blade is 27 inches long and 3 inches wide at the ricasso. Simple curved cross guard is 9 inches long from tip to tip in a straight line. Its a quality piece in my opinion and though I do not have the information on it anymore was most likely copied from an original like most of Museum Replica's are. Any questions feel free to message me.
