Up for sale is one Advanced Combat Helmet made by Specialty Defense Systems . The shell of the helmet is a Large, and the pads are size 6. The pads and hardware are all brand new , while the shell and chinstrap are lightly used but as new. The pad set has had the circular crown pad swapped out for two oblong pads to allow use of a communications headset.
Also included in this auction are two camouflage covers for the helmet, and a night vision goggle mount. One is a pattern called MULTICAM, which is currently being tested by the Army at Fort Benning to replace the ACU, and the other cover is the standard issue ACU pattern cloth cover with IRR tape squares. The NVG mount includes the mounting plate and hook, the rhino arm and the ballistic screw to attach it to the helmet. The NVG mount is used but in good condition with no scratches or damage. To my knowledge, the MULTICAM covers are not yet available commercially, and this is the only one I have been able to obtain from the test batch. I will NOT sell this item to countries who are unfriendly to the USA. I will NOT accept personal checks. Payment by Paypal is preferred , but I will accept money orders or cashier's checks. Shipping will be actual cost to your location, or free to APO or verified military personnel.
