Give Christmas presents that gain in value! Antiques do that. I have LOTS of different and unusual items. When they open their present everyone wonders, "W did he/she find that?"

If you have a question, please ask and tell me what to look for! Oh yeah, please excuse my typing, never have figured that out and if you see a Coke can or quarter, they're for size comparison.

Why don't I hush and let's kick it off with: Antique Cast-Iron Base Dress Form!

This would be a wonderful display piece for a collector or even someone to use. Why don't I just tell what it says? The sign on the left chest says, 'Acme Adjustable Dress Form Patented and Manufactured by (LvM) Ellaham Adjustable Form Co. 378 Throop Ave. Brooklyn 21, N.Y. Size A'

It has the actual instruction tag still hooked around the neck. It says, 'Acme Adjustable Dress Form'

Directions

(T is a graphic showing the unit in numbers) 1. Top Knob regulates Neck adjustments.

2. "Wing Nut" Style Adjustments at the shoulders, bust, waist and hips. Loosen wing nuts and adjust each section independently so that it will exactly reproduce any required size, style, figure or proportions. When tightened the Wing Nuts hold each section rigid.

3. Hips, Loose Wing Nuts underneath the hips, and adjust each hip section for any required proportions.

4. Thumbscrew regulates height for SHORT or TALL figure.

5. "Waist Length" loosen "Wing Nuts" on the front or back straps. Lift knob No. 1, raising upper half of form (above waist.) Tighten "Wing Nuts" at proper waist length.

COLLAPSE.... FOR STORAGE

When not in use loosen THUMB SCREW #4 and the dress form may be collapsed to half its size and placed away for easy storage.

I've never seen one that still has the instruction tag.

Negatives: T are a couple of scrapes. One on the right breast and one or two on the body. I did get the spider webs and egg sacks cleared out. I hope.
