Up for your consideration is this Rare and Very Hard to Find Antique ACME Beer Porcelain Sign in its Metal Holder. Might be a Shelf Sign or Back-bar type. The porcelain sign and the metal holder is included in this auction. Front marked ACME in their logo type and colors **I photographed it outside in bright sunlight so there might be a slight color shift, colors are correct for Acme Beer of this logo style. On the back side the porcelain is stamp looking marked ACME. This sign is porcelain on both sides. In the holder it measures 6" long x 2 3/16" tall x 3/16" thick. All parts look original. Just the porcelain sign measures out at 5 15/16" long x 2 1/16" tall x 1/16" thick. Sign has lip molded into itself for attaching the metal frame onto it. I cleaned off the sign with soap and water, it was a little grimy, cleaned up very nicely.This sign shows real well, great bright color, clean surface and very little issues for a sign of this type. Some minor bits and flakes of porcelain loss from the metal frame or metal flanges, please see all pics. The metal holder is slightly bent, it shows oxidation and original surface color losses. This sign and holder is Guaranteed Authentic and Original. No repairs noticed. Questions let me know. Sign and holder weighs on their own together 3.2 oz.
