Acoma Pueblo Native American Indian Pottery Reverse Bowl by Carmel Lewis
Carmel Lewis (Haskaya) is the youngest daughter of Acoma's most famous potter, Lucy Lewis. Carmel's highly sought after pottery uses the traditional handmade, handcoiled Acoma method. Her work has received awards at exhibits and shows across the country including: Indian Market, Santa Fe; the New Mexico State Fair, and Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial, Gallup. Carmel's pottery can be found in numerous collections and galleries around the world. This newly created unique handcoiled reverse bowl has a wonderful polychrome (2 or more colors) rabbit design.
