Beautiful Dorothy Torivio Acoma Pueblo Pot This auction is for a beautiful hand-coiled and painted pot by noted Acoma Pueblo potter Dorothy Torivio. She is one of the top pueblo potters today and noted for beautifully shaped pots with intricate, symmetrical designs that reflect the Acoma pottery tradition. This pot measures 3" diameter and 2-3/8" high. I purchased this in 2000 from a reputable dealer in Santa Fe. It features deep black paint with a crosses in circles design. Terracotta-color dots accent. It is in perfect condition--no scratches or any visible wear. It has been carefully stored for a few years.I regret selling it but have two young boys, so don't feel I can display it. It is too beautiful to not be displayed somew--maybe your home! This pot has been stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home.I will ship this insured by USPS or UPS--your choice--for $15. It will be carefully packaged with double-boxing and packing peanuts. If you have any questions, please email. Thanks for looking.
