ACOMA Potter , FRANKLIN PETERS is quickly becoming one of the most sought after Acoma artists today. He was taught the art of creating pottery by two of the most accomplished ACOMA potters, Florence and Rachel Aragon . This is a large, handcoiled piece , measuring 10 1/2" X 8". It is truely a traditional piece. After being handcoiled it is hand painted and fired in the traditional ways of his ancestors . The pottery is signed by FRANKLIN PETERS. FRANKLIN PETERS is best known for his P arrot Designs . As you can see on this piece, his perfection and talent are obvious.
