Old Native American Pottery Jar Acoma Pueblo - New Mexico Small Olla - Circa 1940’s - 1950’s ~ please scroll down for more photos and information ~ SIZE: Height - 3.5” (9 cm)���/���Diameter - 5” (12.5 cm) DESCRIPTION:Nice old Native American pottery jar or small olla from the Acoma Pueblo of New Mexico.Unsigned, unmarked. Circa 1940’s to 1950’s.Very thinly and evenly potted and neatly decorated by hand with the traditional Southwest Indian designs unique to Acoma. The white slip ground has a grayish quality overall as is common with Acoma pottery from the middle years of the 20th century. AGE: Circa 1940’s to 1950’s. Mid 20th century. CONDITION:Good condition, as shown in the photos and with the following noted: No chips. No hairlines. No restoration. Wear and old patina to the painted design.
