Acoma Parrot Pot Artist : Franklin Peters Dimensions : 5 3/4" Tall x 6 3/4" Wide This beautiful piece was hand coiled and painted by Franklin Peters, an Acoma artist in New Mexico. Franklin has been making pottery for over 13 years now and is best known for his fine line work. This particular piece, instead, is covered with several traditional patterns and designs including at total of two parrots. The parrots are painted inside large circles that are decorated with cloud patterns and a rainbow filled with traditional parrot style patterns. All of the designs are very well done and flow nicely around the piece. Most of the designs are accented with the red paint that was used on the parrots. This piece is symmetric and balanced. Its sits nicely on any flat surface. It is in good condition; free of scuffs, scratches or cracks. It is signed on the bottom by Franklin. All of our pottery items are shipped DOUBLE BOXED to prevent damage during thier travels. Insurance is included in shipping costs. Please see below for payment, shipping and return policies.
