This is a beautiful set of 8 Adams China dinner plates in their Currier & Ives pattern. They are 8 different scenes as follows: Winter In the Country The Old Grist Mill; Home To Thanksgiving: Woodcock Shooting; The Star of The Road; The Rocky Mountains Emigrants Crossing the Plains; The Clipper Ship Sweepstakes; Husking: and American Homestead - Autumn. They measure 10 1/2" across and all 8 appear to be in very good condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, or flea bites that we can see or feel. There is allover crazing. The backs are marked with the scene and: "Colored Engravings for the People Published by N. Currier Lithographer, 2 Spuce Street (Nearly opposite the City Hall) New-York For Sale Here.
