Up for auction is this charming set of 4 vintage English double egg cups - GEORGIAN by ADAMS CHINA (ADAGEO) . These are decorated with dark red and cobalt flow blue flowers on the palest blue background, decorated on both the front and back, also on the inside with a large wonderful tulip. There is a gold beaded band around the top and a red band around the bottom of each. These are in excellent condition, there are no chips, cracks or dings - some crazing which is normal with these vintage pieces. On one the blue is a little lighter than the other 3 - please view the photos. All bottoms are marked ADAMS England. Measure 3 5/8 inches tall, 2 1/2 inch diameter across the top and almost 2 inches across the bottom. A superb addition to any egg cup collection, perfect for filling in your pattern.
