This is a fantatsic Large Modern Design California Art Pottery Artist Signed by Adcock Spherical Vase .Hand Built Sagger - smoke fired White Stoneware . The Vase is 9" High and 15" Across This Vase is an art design by California Artists Christine & Michael Adcock famous for their Fiber and Clay Art.Great piece to be displayed as a piece of art. This was very expensive and was purchased at the Marketplace in Philadelphia w artisans display and sell their items to designers. Beautiful flawless piece of usable art.The colors are shades of pink, black blue & gray like the sky.. After working in their separate media in the same studio for five years, Michael and Christine Adcock began to see the rich potential in combining clay and fiber. Working together, they have created a collection of vessels that integrate low-fired stoneware, natural fibers, metals and other media into harmonious union. The earthy, primitive tonalities and textures of the fibers and of the sagger and smoke-fired stoneware combine to create a vessel that reveals the various media as being not only mutually compatible, but as actually enhancing the innt beauty of each. Every effort is made to photograph and give a detailed description of the items being sold and I answer questions to the best of my ability. I am not an expert on anything. Most items being sold have been previously owned and may not be perfect, if I see something wrong I mention it and picture it. If you need to return it, postage is not refundable. Due to continued problems with USPS & UPS deliveries to Canada I will no longer ship to Canada and t are NO EXCEPTIONS. I am a UPS Shipper, they pick up everyday and items are shipped quickly and trackable and insured automatically to $100 . If you have a Post Office box please provide a street address for delivery or it will not be shipped. I do not ship USPS except for the rare International Shipment and then EMS is the rate that I will quote, it can be tracked it is quick and paypal requires it for buyer / seller protection. If you can not agree with these terms please do not bid.
