A beautifull Restored old radio for this era.The photos speak for itself! Not easy to find this model today in excellent looking and working condition! Now Exhibiting a Mirror luster to the Turquoise Blue finish using multiple stage cleaning and final hand rub with the finest finishing polish available.No lacquer,oils,or waxes used for the final step! The end results is a nice reflective natural finish as it did when it left the factory,no scratches,,or hairlines! There are a few flea bite marks,tiny discolored small spots on the top of the cabinet from age related use,however very minor and hardly noticed.The dial and dial lettering are excellent.Beautiful dial when illuminated in the dark.These dials are almost always badly scratched and paint missing,not this one! The dial has a smooth vernier movement that tunes in a 4-1 ratio,only found on much more expensive sets! The knobs are original plastic with brass inserts and are excellent! The factory label is missing on the bottom.The rear cover is original and fits tight,Just a gorgeous Retro radio. This is a 5 tube chassis all American tube line up and the chassis and interior cabinet are clean.The volume control was cleaned and de-oxidized, The power cord is a replacement from another set and has some age related stiffness but safe for use.All tubes checked strong on my heath tester!.All other components inspected and replaced as needed.The i.f. has been aligned using a signal generator for optimum accuracy! All antenna trimmers re aligned to factory specs to bring you a flawless performance!The audio is excellent with no buzz or rattle,the speaker is mint condition and the set is very selective for a 5 tuber,very strong player,this set features a gorgeous front designed deco grill with original knobs. This radio from our examination was very well kept,and that is saying something for a near 60 year old radio! There is no need for an external wire for AM!! ,we will carefully pack for safe delivery to you and as always we insure all of our radios for shippingThis radio is very difficult to ship and many have been destroyed during shipment due to improper packing.
