This rare and art deco designed ceramic vase by Adolph Dehn (1895-1968) measures 11" tall; top circumference 22" (8" X 6" on the top opening); bottom circumference 14.5"(5" X 4" on the base). It was made during American Artists Group Era. This vase has Piccasolike abstract drawings of bulls, female riders, circled suns, etched to and around the vase with vivid yellow, brown and black colors on off white background. Adolph Dehn is one of the most prominent etchers and painters of the contemporary American arts. One rarely can find his ceramic works like this vase. This vase is signed (etched) by the artist on the bottom edge, and t is some indecipherable picture and marks on the bottom.The vase has not chips, cracks and repairs. It is in very fine condition.
