Up for auction we offer this VERY CUTE German Kley & Hahn model 167 Character baby circa 1912 in a very sweet baby costume. This little darling is wearing a beautiful white flannel baby dress with sweet blue silk embroidered feather stitching a matching bonnet, full undergarments and knit booties! This is one DARLING bundle of joy, just in time for the holidays! She is GUARANTEED to be free of Hairlines, Cracks, or Restoration to the head!!! She is GUARANTEED to be a genuine antique Kley & Hahn 300 CHARACTER dating from the early 1900s and made in GERMANY . She is GUARANTEED to be on her original composition baby body! What a sweetie! Bisque socket head on her antique German composition bent limb five piece German body with gravity crier (still works). HUGE Angelic Blue sleep eyes , painted upper and lower lashes, multi stroke brows, wide-open mouth with two large upper teeth and adorable dimpled chin, lovely ORIGINAL light Brown mohair baby wig with pate. She is dressed in a super sweet little cotton flannel baby gown with feather stitching detail around the top, pink stitch trimmed cotton flannel diaper and ribbed cotton vest. Costume also includes knit booties and knit hat with blue ribbon and blue ribbon bow at the front of the dress. This sweetie is ready for the cabinet as soon as you get her! MARKS : K H (below neck socket) 167 + 9 CONDITION : Excellent. She has fine quality bisque with wonderful modeling and expert painting of features and pleasant color. Beautiful open smiling mouth with four upper teeth, beautifully modeled features with the very desirable fly-away eyebrows. Gorgeous deep blue sparkling eyes in original setting with long luscious eye-lashes, upper and lower painted lashes also in gorgeous condition. The beautiful original composition body has the original finish, minor age wear to hands and legs (paint flaking on fingers and some soiling.)
