Up for auction is this 1950's 17cm Steiff Original Zotty Bear. � I am the original owner and am not a Steiff expert but will do my best to correctly describe this item. � I believe this is the smallest Steiff bear produced. � He has fully moveable arms, legs and head. � He is made of tan mohair with a blonde bib. � His paws and feet pads are of tan felt. � He has an embroidered nose, open mouth with rose colored accent inside and brown with black pupil eyes. � He has his original raised script Steiff button and yellow tag on his left ear and a "Made in US Zone Germany" tag under his right arm which I believe puts his production in the early 1950's. � He is in very good condition with no smells, rips, holes or other issues but he has a soiled spot on the surface (see pictures) of his right foot pad. � He is wearing a matching hat and pants which does not have a Steiff tag but is how I always remember him. � �
