Adorble 15 l/2" antique bisque head baby on very nice original 5 piece Kestner bent limb composition body. Sweet faced all antique bisque head baby is clearly marked Made in Germany, JDK 260 43 over 47 on back of bisque head. Original golden brown mohair wig and pate really frames face quite nicely. Facial features are well modeled and include painted light brown eyebrows, long painted upper and lower eyelashes in addition to real upper mohair lashes that are still intact. Also noted are the red dots for nostrils and inner corner of eyes, subtle painted open mouth with four little teeth peeking out and wobble tongue. She still has her beautiful original blue glass eyes that sleep perfectly. Her head has been light tested and I see a previous old repair to neck socket on left side of neck below the ear. She is wearing all antique clothing consisting of cream colored flannel diaper that is pinned on, matching cream colored antique flannel full slip and her lovely antique long cream ecru dress features long sleeves with delicate embroidered lace at cuffs and collar, pale blue insertion ribbon at waistline and my favorite part is the cream on cream embroidered flowers along the scalloped hemline. She also is wearing little antique pink woven booties and on her head is a darling antique embroidered eyelet bonnet with palest pink rosette read more
