Here is the most adorable antique Armand Marseille baby doll. She measures approximately 16 inches tall and is marked on the back of her head 990 A 4 M. She has a beautiful bisque head as you can see with no chips or cracks, gorgeous blue sleeping eyes and two tiny little teeth. she has a 5 piece composition bent limb body. She wears an old towelling nappy which is fastened with a safety pin an old hand made vest and a newer pink and white cotton dress which has been made from vintage fabrics, trimmings and fastenings and knitted booties which are tied with silk ribbon. I believe that she has had her wig replaced sometime in the past but as you can see it really suits her and makes her look so cute. I think her eyelashes might have been replaced but I am unsure of that . Take a look at the pictures to see what you think. There are some chips to the ends of her fingers on her left hand as can be seen in the pictures and some rubbing to the fingers on her right hand and toes which as you know is usual with dolls of this age.
