By bidding on/winning/BIN this item, you indicate that you have fully read, understood and agree with our complete SELLING POLICIES (listed further down on this page) Adorable Articulated, Seated 'Eggplant'-Purple Santos Doll Lady This beautiful young lady is a vintage-style Santos Doll with an olive complexion, eggplant/plum colored body, and dark-eggplant-color painted sandal straps. Seated -from head to toe- she is approx. 16.5" tall (in permanent sitting pose), and from elbow to elbow measures approx. 5.5" wide. This sitting doll was crafted in a rustic and traditional method, in a fixed position; her arms and legs are stationary. She is a combination of wood and resin, for perfect detail. Hadn't we known differently, we could have sworn that she was 100% carved out of wood! Your doll will match beautifully with antique decor, vintage decor, religious relics, shabby chic, or Italian, Spanish, French, South American, Central American decor. wood! (Make sure to check our other Santos (Cage) Dolls, too!) Handcrafted workmanship: Variations occur with each handcrafted piece, particularly when being ‘antiqued’. This is character, and not a flaw. And since the dolls are crafted to appear antique in nature, they may include some of the following: distressed or chipped paint, minor splits in wood, some cracks, variations in paint shade, variations in joint resistance, exposed wood in joints, and other artistic process imperfections, yielding different results on every doll. And, although all dolls of a same model are remarkably close in appearance, there may be signs of aging that are not identical to her ’sisters’. Additionally, dolls are made by various craftsmen and receive different ‘personal touches’… It’s the beauty of artistic hand made versus 'robotic' machine made.
