Handcrafted, hand painted figurine is made of bonded porcelain. Bonded Porcelain is the descriptive name for the material and process United Design uses to form our cold cast porcelain figurines. This term was chosen because of the combination of dry porcelain ingredients that are bonded into a very hard and durable bisque finish. We use a mixture of resins (resin is a polymer chemical compound or chemical extract) to bond or fuse the ingredients together - hence bonded porcelain. The finished result are pieces that have characteristics that match fired porcelain to hardness, strength, whiteness, translucency, and absorption of water. This item is in mint condition with no chips or cracks. New in box. It measure 5.8" wide x 13" high and weights 1.9 pounds plus packing material.
