She is simply adorable. Effanbee Dy dee baby. This is the second issue doll. Painted hair, applied ears, no tear ducts as they were added closer to 1950. She has clear hazel eyes with full lashes. Nurser mouth. Measures just over 20". Her body is rubber and head appears to be hard plastic. She is wearing her original rosebud print one piece pjs with drop seat. Except for her right arm her body is in great shape. Most of these early dolls have crumbled over time. This one has faired very well. She is extremely heavy. Cannot believe a little child could carry her! Dy dee is clean with NO odors. Marked on back of head Effanbee and on back with US England France Germany Patents. An adorable little baby! She is being sold as found. Please see all the pics. Doll alone weighs 4 pounds. Will be mailed parcel post as priority will be very expensive.
