BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE STONEWARE ADVERTISED BUTTER CROCK 'RIDGEHURST DAIRY PRODUCTS, FORT ATKINSON, WISCONSIN' Clean, darling old collector's piece. This is a small butter crock with cobalt blue advertising script and block letters. Zinc (white) glazed finish. From a prominent Red Wing collector's estate, but unmarked save an impressed C 2. Refer to other similar butters in DePasquale, Peck, and Peterson's Red Wing Collectibles guide page 88. Please see photos below. One small rim chip with a hairline crack on the back. Crock measures about 4" tall and 5 1/2" diameter. No other chips, cracks, damage or repairs.
