ADZE Great Gift for the Craftsman at your Cabin! I have listed for "Best Offer" a Carpenter's Adze. I used this a while back when hewing logs for the floor in a log cabin. It has a newer handle. It is a fine old tool. I will look for Maker's mark and will include dimensions and a picture. Please write for information. I am a blacksmith and if you would like me to adjust the Adze I can be hired. Thank you! I have two Adz pictured. WINNER CAN CHOOOSE WHICH ONE HE WANTS. Adz#1 has a 3-1/2" blade width and blade length is over 5-1/2" from the "square" eye on the top. It has a 4 line stamp. I can't read it all but the first line seems to start with an MN and end with OO, the second line begins EDG and ends with what looks like O(, the 3rd line probably says WARRANTED, and the 4th line probably says CAST STEEL (beginning and ending letters are clear). Adze#2 has a 4-3/4" blade width and a blade length of about 6-1/2" from the "square" eye on top. This Adze appears to have no maker mark. The handles are new and fit, but you may want to make some minor adjustments. This listing is for ONE Adze with handle.
