Up for auction is an AeroClassics Southwest Airlines "Mustard Livery" Boeing 727-291 N406BN 1:400 Scale Diecast Model with Rolling gears. This Model was released in 2009 with Unit Production being Unknown and Limited and is HARD TO FIND. The Model and Box are in Mint Condition. Southwest Airlines prides itself on having a "Boeing 737 ONLY FLEET", however early in Southwest Airlines existence, they flew a total of 7 Boeing 727-200's all leased, with this one from March 1979 to June 1980 nicknamed "Salvage One" from Braniff Airways. The Other 6 Boeing 727-200's were leased from PeoplExpress from 1983-1985. This model is a must for any Southwest Airlines Collector and historian and is the Only Boeing 727-200 in full Southwest Colors and Titles.
