BRONZE " ALHAMBRA " PERSIAN-STYLE ORIENTALIST TIERED TABLE STAND 19TH CENTURY RETAILED BY TIFFANY & CO. I purchased this table at auction at Skinner, Inc., Sale #2280, July 16, 2005, as part of lot 766, which consisted of a "Bronze Alhambra Vessel on Stand, late 19th century, retailed by Tiffany & Co." I paid $2467.50 for the lot, but have sold the vase that matched this table because the vase was not nearly as fine as the table and looked as if it was not made to match the table. This table would retail for at least $1,800 in a regional antiques shop and even more in expensive NYC shops. I am offering it for much less. It is in excellent condition, though one of the feet is loose (see photo) because the threading of the screw that holds it in place has worn down over the years, so the screw needs replacing - the table sits very solidly and steadily on its feet with no wobbles and you only know that one of the feet is loose when you lift the table off the ground anf the foot comes loose. T are no breaks or any other damage. It has tarnished and does need polishing, but some people prefer a brighter shine than others, so I am leaving that up to the buyer (you can see w the central area of the top tier is brighter w the vase used to sit because it did not tarnish as much).
