AESTHETIC JAPANESQUE GOLD GESSO ASYMMETRIC FRAME With Applied Flowers, Cracked Ice, Basket Weave and Egg and Dart Moulding This Victorian American Aesthetic wood frame has moulded blossoms, basket weave finish, beaded or egg and dart edges. The bottom part of the frame has a Japanese influence with its cracked ice molding. The height is 14.5 inches on the longer right hand side, and 11 inches on the left hand side. The width of the frame is 9.25 inches. The opening for a photo is 6.5 inches X 8.5 inches. T is no loss of gesso, but the gold finish may not be original. It is a lovely example of photo frames of the late 19 th Century. Each and every question deserves a quick response! Now for some practical details. Either check or money order is fine.
