This is a stunning brown transferware hand tinted teapot from the Staffordshire area in England. This auction is for the teapot only but I am also listing a matching tureen. Fully marked, this pattern is "Hyde" made by Enoch Woods. Mark includes names of Enoch and Ralph Woods as well as Woods Burslem England dating its manufacture to after 1891. Transferware is tinted with yellow, green, blue, and rose. Small chip on spout as shown in picture. No other damage noted. I love the lines and shape on this teapot. I am in the slow process of downsizing and will be listing lots of interesting items as I have time. I have been a member of the ebay community since 1998 and have just returned to selling after 3+ years.. Shipping is by priority mail and is calculated for you. Insurance is extra and can be purchased at postal rate. I am not responsible for lost or damaged items once they leave my hands if you do not elect to purchase insurance. I do however, make every effort to pack fragile items to avoid damage. I am a collector first and hate nothing more than receiving a damaged item. I am a full-time worker so will usually ship on Fridays. I will make every effort to accomodate special requests for earlier shipping if necessary. Your satisfaction is important to me.I am more than happy to accept checks but they may require time to clear depending on feedback. Please check out my other or add me to your Favorite Sellers list as I have an eclectic mixture of antique and vintage items.
