AF American Flyer 923 IC ILLINOIS CENTRAL 1954-5 REEFER. Cleaned, Oiled, Repaired if Needed, Ready to Run! I will let the pictures do most of the describing. AF American Flyer 923 IC ILLINOIS CENTRAL 1954-55 Orange-painted refrigerated boxcar . The car is Orange-painted black plastic, giving it a rich deep-orange color. Original operating knuckle couplers and black sintered-iron truck side frames rust free, but reattached at some time. Both sides are excellent with a few play paint nicks. Plug type refrigerator doors don’t move on this car and there was never a brake wheel. Very little light spotty surface rust on the sheet metal frame. The top corners and catwalk ends have tiny paint rubs. The lettering, numbering, and heralds are excellent. The car is clean, shinny, oiled, repaired if needed, couples and rolls great. Car grades C-6 Very Good condition. I have a number of trains listed in separate auctions, so please look at all of my auctions as I do combine shipping.
