Thanksfor viewing my listing. This is a beautiful example of the African Elephant carved by a Tribal Craftsman from Zimbabwe out of a single pieceof Ironwood. Its dimensions are approximately 15 inches long, 16 inches high and 7 inches wide. This is an exquisite example of amazing talent, attention to detail and craftsmanship. I purchased it directly from the artist himself while looking for African themed carvings and art for my residence. I have found some beautiful examples of hand carved African animals (and other themed pieces) that would make a wonderful addition to any décor or art collection as they are gallery quality. I have been traveling back and forth to Southern Africa for many years now for both business and pleasure, and from time to time run into carvings I just could not leave behind regardless of space. With a house full I am beginning to sell some so as to be able to add different pieces. If you are not satisfied with this amazing carving it I will gladly allow you to return it.
