This auction is for another item from an elderly friend who lived in the Belgian Congo from 1924 to 1944, who as the child of missionary parents brought home to the USA several mementos of the folks she had grown up with and around.
This serious African clay eating Pot is well used and created sometime since 1900 but before 1944. See photos, for I do not know enough about it to top the photographs. 7 inches across, 4 inches tall, rounded bottom-slightly flattened for sitting still, and 3 inches deep. The original construction may have been as a coil, or the ridges in the top may be part of the exterior decor. I don't know what the bit of carved wood is, unless it is an eating or scooping utensil. Buyer pays shipping on 3-4 pounds priority and may use paypal, money order, cash or check. Thanks for looking and Good luck Bidding. This is only a 3 day/no reserve auction, and I will answer any questions I am able to.
