You are bidding on an incredibly rare and exciting lot of autographs related to Agatha Christie adaptations for film and television. JOAN HICKSON : The late British actress played the definitive Miss Jane Marple in the most faithful adaptations of Christie's novels of the sleuthing spinster. This an extremely rare, two-page letter, double-sided letter completely written in Hickson's hand on her personal stationary from her home in England in 1991. In it, she answers several questions regarding her portrayal of Marple and the television series. Also included is an unsigned photo-portrait card of the actress as Marple. DAVID SUCHET : is a remarkable set of correspondence from the actor who has made Christie's Hercule Poirot a household name. In a series of letters from approx. 1991 and 2000, Suchet answers questions about his defining role as the Belgian sleuth on both personal stationary and that from the series. Also included is an unsigned photo of Suchet as Poirot. HUGH FRASER : Just as Holmes had his Watson, Poirot was served by his faithful friend Captain Arthur Hastings, portrayed in the Suchet series by Fraser who has signed a B&W photo-portrait of himself in character.
