is something you may never see again! A FULL case of Anchor Hocking Fire King Jadeite restaurant ware 6 3/4 inch pie or salad plates NEW IN THE ORIGINAL BOX! T are four dozen (48) of the G297 pie or salad plates with their original packing new and unused with no chips or cracks marked Anchor Hocking Fire King ware and Made in USA on the bottom. These were made by Anchor Hocking between 1948 and 1967. I can't find any date on the box, but it does pre-date zip code. A veritable gold mine discovery for the Fire King lover and collector! The box has suffered the ravages of time and is in poor condition but can be taped up on a split side seam. The plates weigh 34 pounds for all 48 of them and will be packed in two priority mail boxes. To ensure safe arrival, each individual plate will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed with styrofoam peanuts. Insurance is a must with this. Unless the winning bidder specifies otherwise, the box will be shipped in another box. I cannot flatten the box without damaging it further as it was made during the days when boxes were stapled together. Shipping will be flat rate of $40.00 in the USA or $180.00 to Japan for all three boxes via USPS priority mail or USPS priority mail international.
