This is a AHM/Rivarossi Norfolk & Western Mallet 2-8-8-2 Steam Engine & Tender #2197 in good running condition. This locomotive was tested and ran smoothly (forward & reverse) after an initial push to get it going. This engine was in storage for a long time from its previous owner and will likely need a little cleaning and oil. Included in this lot is an Athearn Norfolk & Western 40' Boxcar #361508 in excellent condition. Finally, there is also a Norfolk & Western 30' 3-Window Steel Caboose Roundhouse Kit. This kit needs to be assembled and will be shipped in its original box. This is the perfect lot for anyone who models the Norfolk and Western. The Norfolk & Western got rid of its last steam engines later than many other railroads, so this Mallet will look fine parked alongside some first generation diesels.
