Really nice US Air Force Field Grade Officer's hat. The hat has a nice wool gaberdine in Air Force Blue. The brim is felt covered with the distinctive USAF silver bullion clouds and lightning bolts, commonly called "darts and farts." This hat also has a double strap that is often used by USAF Officers. There is the normal seen chin strap in the front, but also another strap with a buckle in the back. The hat is from Morry Luxenberg New York and London Enland. It is not marked for size but it is around a 7 3/8 or 7 1/2. The cover is in really good condition with minimal signs of wear. There is some wear to the brim. This is a very nice original officer's hat from the late 1950's or early 1960's. The pictures show the item the winning bidder will receive, so judge the condition and quality for yourself. The patches, medals, ribbons, and uniforms we are selling come from our family collections.These items are vintage, and have been around smoking and animals.
