Offered by Over The Blue Horizon is yet another superb large-format pictorial/magazine from Japan: the premier issue of “AIR MODELING MANUAL” from November 2006. Long out of print, this first volume of “AIR MODELING MANUAL’ features the Mitsubishi Zero fighter (Part 1 – the second part is covered in the second volume, also being offered by Over The Blue Horizon separately). Just look at the accompanying scans – the entire 112 pages of this visually stunning periodical are dedicated to the Zero! It features photography of a number of kits ranging from 1/72 to 1/32, as well as photos of the Zero at the Auckland Museum in New Zealand. It’s 8.25 x 11.75 inches in size. Over The Blue Horizon rates this line of pictorials from Japan as having the absolute best photography for Japanese military models we have ever seen.
