Up for auction is an Air Tek TWA Martin 404 with booklet. I'm not sure which manufacturer did this model, and thought it was Topping/Precise, but was informed be viewers it was by Air Tek. (see questions for further details.) The model is made of a solid resin material and the triangular base is of a weighted black plastic. Unfortunately, the triangular I.D. logo is missing, hence the mystery surrounding the manufacturer. The model is in good shape and has all of the flap actuator fairings. The propellers are cast metal and do not rotate. Decal condition is good with only minor "chipping"/cracking on the upper right main cockpit window, forward portion/right side top fuselage stripe and leading edge of the vertical fin stripes. They might show up in the photos of the model. Also included is a Martin 404 book (soft cover) published by ATP dated February 1976. Loaded with photos of the 202 and 404, it traces various Martin airliners and the owners who operated them. PLEASE NOTE; insurance will be required on this item and based upon the models size and weight, shipping/handling charges will be determined after the bid closes and I have the new owner's address. SO PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL ALL COSTS ARE DETERMINED. Model sold as is with no returns.
